As reported by Electrive, South Korea’s SK Innovation, which has a cobalt and nickel offtake deal with Australian Mines, is keen on creating a battery partnership with German auto giant Volkswagen, aimed at producing lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles (especially Volkswagen’s).
